Why I Won’t Mourn Charlie Kirk (And Why You Should Listen to Those Who Don’t)
I Will Not Mourn Charlie Kirk and Neither Should You
I Will Not Mourn Charlie Kirk and Neither Should You
If you’re shocked by the video of Charlie Kirk’s death, good. You should be. But if that shock blinds you to the mountain of bodies left in his wake, you’re part of the problem.
Let’s be clear: Charlie Kirk was a fascist. He didn’t just peddle hate he weaponised it, turning rhetoric into real-world violence. He mocked the dead, demonised the vulnerable, and cheered as his followers harassed, doxxed and threatened anyone who dared disagree. He called empathy weakness while his policies got people killed. And now, his allies want you to weep for him?
No.
The Blood on His Hands
Every despot has a family. Every tyrant had someone who loved them. That doesn’t make them worthy of mourning. Kirk spent years stoking the fires of bigotry, pushing conspiracy theories that got people killed, and laughing as his followers terrorised the marginalised. He didn’t care when children died in mass shootings. He didn’t care when trans people were murdered. He didn’t care when immigrants were caged. So why the hell should we care now?
The Christian Nationalists are already blaming the trans community for his death without a skerrick of evidence. Sound familiar? That’s because this is exactly what Kirk did: find a scapegoat, whip up a frenzy, and let the bodies pile up. And now, his disciples are using his death to justify more violence, more crackdowns, more fascism.
Donald Trump eulogised Kirk by claiming he died because people called him a Nazi while actively working to make it illegal to call fascists what they are. The message is clear: Dissent is the new terrorism.
The Hypocrisy Is Sickening
Where was the outrage when Kirk’s rhetoric inspired violence? Where were the calls for ‘civility’ when he mocked school shooting victims? When he called for the execution of political opponents? When he cheered as cops brutalised protesters?
Crickets.
But now that one of their own is gone, suddenly we’re supposed to fall in line, bow our heads, and pretend he wasn’t a monster. Bugger that.
They’re Coming for Us Next
Make no mistake: This is not about mourning. This is about control. They’re using Kirk’s death to silence dissent, criminalise protest, and round up anyone who resists. Project 2025 isn’t a conspiracy theory it’s a blueprint for tyranny. And if you think they’ll stop with ‘the radical left’, you’re delusional.
They’re coming for immigrants. For Black people. For Muslims. For queer people. For you, if you dare speak out.
Enough with the Fake Empathy
You want us to feel bad for Kirk’s family? Fine. But don’t you dare lecture the people he spent his life trying to destroy. Don’t you dare tell the trans kids he wanted erased, the immigrants he wanted caged, the activists he wanted jailed to ‘be civil’ while his allies use his death to justify more oppression.
Empathy is not weakness but it’s not a one-way street. If you can only muster tears for the oppressor, you’re complicit.
The Time for Silence Is Over
I won’t mourn Charlie Kirk. I won’t pretend he was anything but what he was: a hateful, dangerous man who left a trail of destruction in his wake. And if that makes me a target, so be it.
The real question is: When they come for the rest of us, will you still be silent?
