Some are burdened with a heavy heart
Born into shadows, a life unfair
Their innocence torn apart.

Why must some bear such weight
From the moment of their birth?
With wounds deep and scars that ache
They navigate a cruel earth

An innocent child, eyes wide with fear
Addicted to the poison of pain
Left alone, abandoned and near
Their tender soul left to wane

Questions unanswered, tears in the night
Aching hearts plead for a reprieve
But in the darkness, there lies a light
Whispering, “Hold on, believe”

For within the depths of despair
There lies a strength profound
A resilience that will repair
And lift them from the ground

So let us stand in unity
Embrace the lost and forlorn
With love and compassion, set them free
In a world where hope is reborn.
