A Call for Authenticity: Reflections on My Spiritual Journey

There comes a moment when the weight of truth demands to be shared. Today, I find myself at such a crossroads as I reflect on my dedication to spiritualism and energy work. After years of immersion in this realm, I remain certain of one fundamental truth: human consciousness transcends physical existence. Our energy continues beyond the release of our earthly form.

The pandemic marked a significant turning point in my spiritual path. As our community shifted online, I discovered the direction I had been seeking throughout my life. I’ve always embraced the wisdom to take only what resonates and leave the rest a practice that has served me well while helping me filter unnecessary influences. Nevertheless, I continue to question much of what I observe.

We are experiencing an undeniable global shift one that carries a disquieting heaviness. Daily, we face bombardments of fear, control mechanisms, and endless conflicts. Yet amid this external turmoil, many overlook the most crucial battle: the one within ourselves. I firmly believe that healing our internal struggles must precede any meaningful attempt to assist others.

What profoundly concerns me is the current state of our spiritual community. I’ve encountered numerous individuals who adopt the titles of spiritualists and mediums, seemingly drawn by fame’s allure or television portrayals rather than authentic service. True mediumship, I’ve discovered, emerges from within from a genuine desire to help others. It brings profound inner peace and healing not only to those we serve but to ourselves as well.

These recent months represent a culmination of a 32-year chapter now closing in my life. I’ve struggled with disillusionment regarding our physical world a sentiment I’ve carried since childhood. Our earthly systems are failing us, leaving us with a clear imperative: we must evolve. We must eliminate the falsehoods, superficiality, and betrayal permeating our communities.

My journey has been one of relentless confrontation with trauma since birth. Though we reportedly agree to our soul contracts before entering this life, I sometimes wonder what I was thinking. This existence has presented challenges beyond what I believed I could endure. At 32 years old, I now no longer carry a significant burden. I seek not sympathy but rather a path toward healing, self-understanding, and liberation from the cycle of seeking external solutions.

For too long, I believed others mediums, spiritual workers, lightworkers held my answers. Now I recognise that what I seek lies within. Though the thought of turning inward feels isolating when I already experience disconnection, I can no longer tolerate the narcissism and hostility that have infiltrated our spiritual community, affecting us all collectively.

Transformation begins with personal accountability. My commitment includes healing my wounds, challenging deception, and maintaining integrity on my path. How are you honouring yours? Mediumship represents not a path to fame or exploitation but a sacred avenue for healing and elevation. Discussing others’ trauma publicly or privately violates ethical boundaries. We require immediate change as old paradigms collapse. Despite inevitable resistance, I remain committed to growth and evolution.

Today marks the conclusion of a significant life chapter. I feel with profound certainty that my purpose involves catalysing transformation within mediumship practices. My journey with death began at age six with my baby sister’s passing. Since then, I’ve encountered mortality countless times childhood friends, grandparents, my mother, close companions, my partner’s mother, and numerous others. My connection with the deceased has often surpassed my engagement with the living.

This, I believe, defines my purpose: to facilitate change, promote healing, and maintain authenticity. Whether you embrace this perspective or not, know that I remain steadfast on this path of eternal evolution.
